We are happy to announce our successful application for a workshop within the framework of the ZukunftBau Pop-up campus 2022 in Aachen, Germany. During this workshop we will further explore our research into Digital Design and Fabrication with fast-regrowing willow. Together with a group of 15 students, we will digitally fabricate a 1:1 research demonstrator that will be be exhibited during the Pop-up Campus.
Costs: This workshop is funded by Zukunft Bau, thus all materials, hardware and software will be provided free of charge. There is no general fee for participating.
Requirements: a personal computer with windows
Accommodation: All participants need to organise their individual arrival, departure and accommodation during the workshop

Day 1 (29.08, 09.00 - 16:00):
- Workshop Introduction
- Hands-on exploring of willow structures
- Introduction in Digital Design and Fabrication
Day 2 (30.08, 09.00 - 16:00):
- Digital Fabrication of 1:1 components
- individual and group research into Digital Design Methods
Day 3 (31.08, 09.00 - 16:00):
- Digital Fabrication of 1:1 components
- individual and group research into basic principles of componential logic
Day 4 (01.09, 09.00 - 16:00):
- Digital Fabrication of 1:1 components
- individual and group research into basic principles of connection
Day 5 (02.09, 09.00 - 16:00):
- Final discussion
