This research aims to develop circular construction concepts that are enabled by digital design and fabrication and to explore correlated novel design and construction repertoires. Therefore, fast-regrowing plant-based materials - such as willow and poplar - in combination with alternatives to conventional aggregates - namely clay and loam - are the focus of the investigations in Digital Wicker

ReGrow - Research Grant

We are happy to share the news that the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg (MLR) has awarded a 2 million euro research grant to “ReGrow”, a project in which the Professur Digital Design and Fabrication (DDF) participates with other partners.
